Hiring Wendy was the best decision my fiancé and I made during the wedding planning process. I knew she was the right fit during our initial free phone consultation. I had spoken to a few other coordinators who had explained what they do and their different packages, but Wendy really SHOWED me what she can do. Our 30-min consult turned into an hour, and before it was over I had filled up several notebook pages with advice on how to save money, recommendations for trusted vendors, and so many other things I had never considered. We live in Chicago but planned our wedding in St. Louis, and I can’t imagine having planned everything without her help. She really took the time to listen to us and understand our vision. She acted as a cheerleader when we needed a pep talk and acted as our advocate when a vendor was dropping the ball. I’m someone who tends to be the organizer and task-master in my family, so I was really scared about not being able to relax and enjoy my wedding day. With Wendy and her team’s help, I had the perfect day and got to enjoy every minute of it. By the end of the process I really considered her to be more of a friend, and I already miss working with her.
